Concept There wasn't much thought behind the meaning of this piece. I'd been experimenting with a new technique and wanted to play with it. I'd also met a woman with the most delicious knees I had ever seen... and wanted to draw knees. Lo, an angel was born/

Materials
This was another mixed media piece. The dress is cut pieces of paper, each segment is completely flat and using only one piece of paper. The wings are three D, and each individual feather is cut out of paper. The hair is black ink with a bit of copper leafing added to it. The skin is colored pencil, with blank ink for the garter, and the background is watercolor.

Prints
I am still working on getting prints that aren't blurry. So far every single photograph we've taken has come out blurred and scanning struggles with the depth of the paper collage.

available though I will not be selling it until I can get decent prints.

This is just absolutely stunning. I can't believe you did this by hand!! That this is a scan of a sort!! It's obvious it was a labor of love, and that just add so much more beauty to it on another level. I'm very glad yours was featured in the e-mail/newsletter thing.
