This file will not stay up for long. I've been flailing at you all about the new canvas prints, I'd like to give you a sneak peak of just what I"m doing with them. You can expect any of my prints at conventions to be of this quality, with hand colored mats and canvas printwork that's been embellished (not always with iridescent, often with just matte gel medium to mimic paint textures, real gold leafing applied to the canvas, etc. )
My prices will be going up for prints like this because of all that goes into them, but they'll still not be anywhere NEAR my pricing on originals. Also almost all of my prints are sold out/out of stock. I'll be posting one or two more sales to get rid of the last of my paper prints and then that's it. Everything from there on out will be the VERY highest quality I possibly can do, with my heart and soul put into everything from prints to jewelry to originals.
I'm giving you guys my everything, because that's what you all deserve.
Man, good for you. I've never seen another artist do this with their matting before, it really adds an incredible amount to the piece. The people in your poll saying they don't want to see your mats clearly haven't seen this piece.
Wow, Jess, you're making the entire thing a work of art, not just the work of art itself. Lol I hope that made sense. But wow, just wow, I'm gonna have to do some saving so I can snag what I want dangling on my walls the instant I see it...
Now, on what you said, I am honestly very happy that you feel the need to pour your heart and soul into everything. To me that is the greatest release of stress, anxiety, etc. and my favorite way of centering myself and putting anything that's been bugging me into perspective so it doesn't run me dry emotionally. I'm hoping that it works this way for you, and I am honored to think that you believe that's what we all deserve. Just make sure you take care of yourself as well sweetie, because we all care about you as a person too. Okie dokie darlin'?
Yeah pretty much. I want people to REMEMBER my art when they go to a convention, not just walk past 'yet another fantasy artist'. I'm doing pretty good, the panic attacks are less and I've been able to go out shopping quite a bit more then I used to!
I understand completely, wanting to be remembered. You certainly did that for me the first time I saw your art, I think I hit that watch button, THEN went through your gallery...lol. Usually it's the other way around. I'm really glad you're doing better, Jess, I hope you keep improving! You certainly have a lot of support here, if/when you need it.

That would basically be the best thing ever.
