Concept
You lookin' for a good time? Cause I sure am, and you look good enough to... EAT.

Holy shit, this was spawned from a dream that some of you might remember me babbling about in this journal: [link] . All that 'omg pirate porn with mermaids!" except they get eaten? Yeah. So this was my dream in all it's happy go lucky, watery glory.

Materials
Done in watercolors, colored pencils and a tiny bit of ink.

I am debating revisiting this piece and doing different variations on it using different techniques. I've never felt completely satisifed with how it came out. We'll see.

This is really pretty! XD I believe that creature is called a Siren in mythology (I don't remember which...), but they basically lure sailors with their seductive form and when they get close the ugly part eats them. ^^
