Bronzed

Hello friends. My good friend and I decided to collaborate on another dragon painting. She does fantastic dragons and I was super excited to work on this! Her drawing, I put chips of mica stone on the dragon for it's scales and melted antique gold metallic pigments over it for the linework. You can't see it very well in this picture, but I also put rough sand and bits of rust colored stone on the edges of the tail plates, to give the appearance of rust and age to it.

Then watercolors and colored pencils to round out the rest of the piece. It was SO MUCH FUN!
